Overview
We pick you up from your accomodation, drive you to the best learning waves in Byron Bay or you can meet us there.
All you need is your swimmers and a towel. We give you the surfboards, wetsuits and rash shirts as well as plenty of sunscreen. We start with a basic warm up, then run through all the basic fundamentals of your surfing on the sand.
We also run through surf safety and surf awareness as well as how we conduct our class in the surf. Our Instructors then take you into the surf and proceed to get you up and surfing on your first few waves. You will then proceed to learn the basics of catching your own waves with the assistance of the Instructors with every wave you go for. Once you are surfed out and stoked we then pack up and check out the photos of you surfing. Then we will drop you home. Happy Days.

Numbers
We operate with a maximum of 10 beginners with 3 instructors helping you catch as many waves as you can.
Session Time
3 1/2 hours for the session. 1.5 to 2 hours is allocated for pick up, instruction, surf safety, surf awareness, basic stretching and warm ups. Then 1.5 to 2 hours surf time.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Must be able to swim. Please inform instructor of any medical conditions that may affect your safety whilst in the water. All you need is your swimmers and a towel. We give you the surfboards, wetsuits and rash shirts as well as plenty of sunscreen.
All Surfing Instructors are fully qualified. Level One Surfing Instuctors Certificate. Surf Lifesaving Bronze Medallion. Advance Resuscitation Certificate. St. Johns Senior First Aid Certificate. Super friendly, super helpful. All the best Instruction techniques. At your service.
