Rock Climbing Weekend Adventure - Katoomba

Blue Mountains

Overview

Two days of awesome rock climbing in the Blue Mountains. This activity is designed for participants with little or no previous experience. You will learn about safety on the rock, using climbing equipment, as well as abseiling, how to best use various footholds, handholds and other climbing techniques.

Then you're off to experience some of the best introductory rock climbs in the Blue Mountains. Each day we'll stop for lunch at a spectacular cliff top location, with all food and refreshments supplied. All specialist climbing equipment including climbing shoes are also provided.

Katoomba (Blue Mountains - New South Wales)

This activity takes place in Katoomba.

Numbers

Group sizes are approximately one instructor for every three or four participants.

Session Time

Two full days from around 9.30am to 5.00pm.

Guidelines & Restrictions

This activity does require some fitness - if you can easily climb a household ladder, you are fit enough to take part.

Please bring or wear the following clothing; shorts, long pants, warm sweater or fleece jacket, T-shirt, sun hat, rain jacket. Footwear such as running shoes, or lightweight hiking boots should be worn. Sometimes wet weather will postpone this activity, if in doubt call our weather check number.
